AJAX search is a search form that displays the results while you’re still typing, making the process of looking for the information lightning-fast. JetSearch plugin is an excellent addon for Elementor which allows adding an AJAX search form to the website pages in order to allow the customer to find the needed content easily. One of the most common places one can add a Search form is a header template. This tutorial describes the whole process of adding an AJAX search to website’s header with the help of JetSearch plugin.

1.In order to add an AJAX search form, open the WordPress Dashboard and proceed to the CrocoBlock > My Library directory in case you’re using CrocoBlock. You can also add a search form to your website’s header using Elementor > My templates block, where you can as well access the header templates.

2.Select the Header template and click the Edit with Elementor option.

3.When the editor opens find Ajax Search widget. Drag and drop it to the needed section inside the header’s template.

4.Feel free to use all the customization settings available in the Content, Style and Advanced blocks to create an eye-catching search form.

5.After everything is done, click the Update button in order to save the progress.

Now, you can add an AJAX search form to any parts of your website! You can make it appear in the header, or anyplace you need, by adding an Ajax Search widget to sections.
